    The Tournament

Tailored for parties of up to 36 people split into 3 groups. The first group will be left alone to play together and experience the game the way it was meant to be played, with headsets on, in the dark.

The remaining groups will be taken to two separate locations around the venue to conduct their vigils, ghost hunts etc with the psychic Mediums and paranormal investigators. The groups will swap (rotate) every hour and each players' game score recorded so everyone gets a chance to experience the game, take part in the organised ghost hunts and compete in the tournament.

    Ghost Hunting

You will experience real ghostly paranormal activity under the guidance of experienced and professional psychic Mediums and paranormal investigators. You will be given the opportunity to participate in real Seances, Vigils, EVP experiments and the use of EMF (K2) Meters, Ouija Boards, Automatic writing equipment and more.

    The Venue: Fort Horsted

This is a highly active place and with many tunnels and rooms which have remained untouched for years. Fort Horsted oozes spiritual activity. Reported paranormal activity include:

    • A little girl whose voice has been recorded by visitors
    • Shadowy figures witnessed in the tunnels
    • Areas so scary that people refuse to visit them
    • A large, shaggy black dog seen wandering the tunnels
    • Sounds of approaching footsteps but no-one arrives
    • Mumbling or talking sounds heard in the tunnels
    • Spirits that make people laugh for no reason at all!

One of only a handful of buildings designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, Fort Horsted really is unique and the perfect venue for our AREA 18 FEAR Event. Originally built in 1880 to defend Chatham Dockyard from land based invasion and left in a dilapidated, semi derelict state. Fort Horsted is now being sympathetically restored.
